As reported on this site earlier in the winter, Amey – working in conjunction with Birmingham City Council – have invested in a brand new fleet of gritters for winter maintenance this year. To mark their arrival in the city, Amey are offering primary schools the chance to name one.

The winning schools will all receive a visit from “their” gritter. One school will also be crowned the overall winner and have a special presentation.
