Following on from the post earlier this week about a new magazine for Edgbaston and Harborne (the given), this month has also seen the launch of a new magazine for Quinton.
Called The Quinton Directory, the magazine is being distributed to homes in the Quinton area. The front cover of the first edition shows an interesting picture of Quinton in the 1890s, courtesy of the Quinton Local History Society. This is contrasted with a picture of Quinton today.
The magazine is a useful mix of adverts for local businesses and services, coupled with some interesting articles on subjects such as Car Boot Sales, British Food Fortnight, and How To Pass Your Driving Test. There is also a half page feature giving all the contact details and information about the Quinton Conservative team! Many thanks to the editorial team for asking us to contribute.
Best of luck to this new venture. We are fortunate in having not one, but two, new publications launched in the constituency this month!
