A busy day of campaigning today – with 2 separate canvass sessions, and a mass delivery taking place in different parts of the constituency.
Many thanks to everyone who helped – the people pictured here are just some of those who came to help with the delivery.
As well as delivering Conservative leaflets, we also helped out Quinton Local History Society by delivering, with our leaflet, a flier about the forthcoming Quinton Centenary Celebrations. The History Society’s leaflet also contains some photographs of historical sites in Quinton and information about how Quinton came to be part of Birmingham rather than neighbouring Halesowen. It was all to do with the fact that Birmingham’s sewerage plans seemed better to the then Chairman of Quinton Parish Council than Halesowen’s apparently!
