The aftermath of Christmas can be a very difficult time for many people – with the extra spending incurred over Christmas, pushing them in to debt.
Today I met with a charity which helps people in debt – the Consumer Credit Counselling Service which has an office in Birmingham city centre.
I orginally arranged to visit CCCS last week – but unfortunately the visit had to be cancelled due to the heavy snow. I’m pleased it was able to be rearranged for today.
For more information about my visit see today’s story on the News section of this wesbite. To contact the Consumer Credit Counselling Service freephone 0800 138 1111 or visit www.cccs.co.uk
