Last night saw the bi-monthly meeting of the Council’s Edgbaston Constituency Committee. There were a number of items on the agenda including the consultation on the draft Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Joint Commissioning Strategies, and a briefing about the future of health services in Birmingham – including Public Health coming back as a Council function.
Also dsicussed were a progress report on the constituency pledges and an update on developments in parks and allotments.
There were a number of members of the public present and it was also great to meet up again with former Sgt Mick Palmer (pictured at the top of this blog standing beside the Streetwatch van) who is now an Inspector and is the new deputy to our constituency Inspector. Welcome back to Edgbaston!
