On a lovely sunny morning, Cllr James Hutchings and I joined residents, the police and Council officers in a community clean up today on the Waterworks Estate.
Weeds were removed, litter picked up, and the whole place given an autumn “spring clean”! It was great to see so many residents getting involved. Our Edgbaston Hit Squad were on hand to take the bags of rubbish away, and from there they went to Rotton Park Rd to remove a large pile of black bags I had reported to them, which had been dumped at the junction with Lyttelton Road.
Many thanks to everyone!
