The Test Match is on this weekend in Edgbaston (today was the second day) and the Aegon Classic Tennis Tournament starts at the Priory Tennis Club in Edgbaston on Monday (with qualifying due to take place this weekend) – and unfortunately it has hardly stopped raining all day today and yesterday.
However today I was invited along to the Priory Club for the official opening of their new indoor courts. The new building houses 6 indoor courts and will be followed in the coming twelve months by a new clubhouse.
After the new building was officially opened by one of last year’s Aegon Classic finalists, there were demonstrations on the courts by both adults and children. As you can see, the new facilities are fantastic!
