CPM’s 65th Anniversary Celebration

Today I attended the Cerebral Palsy Midlands’ Celebratory Lunch for their 65th anniversary, which was held at the Centennial Centre in Icknield Port Rd.

Along with members of their European partners in their art-based exchange project Makeable, they had started off the day with a visit to the Council House to meet the Lord Mayor. From there it was on to the lunch at the Centennial Centre where they were joined by a number of Councillors including Cllr Randal Brew, Cllr Sue Anderson and myself.

After the lunch a short film was shown and this was followed by a disco – where a lot of very happy people took to the floor! A great party atmosphere! Many thanks for inviting me!
