Police & Crime Commissioner Meeting

Last night Edgbaston Ward Conservatives hosted a public meeting for people to meet the Conservative Party’s Police and Crime Commissioner Candidate – former Birmingham Councillor Matt Bennett. The meeting was chaired by Cllr Fergus Robinson.

Thousands of leaflets had been delivered across the ward by the team, giving details of the meeting. It was held at Walker Hall in Ampton Road, and the room was almost full.

Matt gave a presentation, and then spent almost an hour answering questions on subjects such as low detection rates, powers for PCSOs, speeding, parking, anti social behaviour and keeping Police Stations open.

Many thanks to everyone who turned up. For more information about Matt (and other public meetings he is holding) go to www.mattbennett.org.uk
